On the ice

Game Rules

Game Info: Two rules that depend on your division:
No slapshots in Novice.
Three goals max per player in Novice, Lower Intermediate and Upper Intermediate, the 4th goal is a penalty. Advanced and Elite are lawless.
How long is a game?: 17 minutes running time, with a 4 minute warm up. Penalties are 3 minutes.
What happens if a game is tied?: No OT. Ties are broken in this order:
Goal differential
Fewest penalty minutes
Best dressed
Are there prizes?: We will be doing the MVP-the-other-team prizes again.

Rosters

How do rosters work?: One skater per team. I will do what I can to get your bench to 10 but if not, we'll talk.
Can I play skater and goalie?: Skater and goalie is ok, but please talk to me first.
Can a goalie play on multiple teams?: Talk to me first.

Off the ice

What's this year's theme?: Hawaiian so break out those coconut bikinis and grass skirts! There will be Hawaiian food.
When is the tailgate?: Saturday, 5pm 'til 10pm. It's for 340 people, so I hope everyone eats!
Is there karaoke?: Lucinda is graciously loaning us her karaoke rig for all night fun.
Where are the bathrooms?: The porta potty is ours, so use that instead of the bushes.
Where can I stash my chairs and coolers?: The U-Haul will be there Friday if you want to store your chairs, coolers, etc. Pick everything up by Sunday morning, otherwise it's coming home with me.
Is there a hospitality room?: Pandora will be hosting the hospitality room again for all your refueling needs. Thank you, Jillian, for spearheading this!
What about recovery?: One massage therapist will be on hand — one dropped, so if you know of any that can fill in last minute, please let me know. I think the cryo therapy people will be there as well.
